2. Liberty is responsibility to live righteously (Romans 6:2, 11, 14)

II. Right response of a believer to his new life in Christ (Romans 6:3-4a)

1. To daily crucify the flesh (Romans 6:3; Ephesians 1:13-14; Galatians 2:20-21; Colossians 3:3; Ephesians 2:6)
2. To daily live a transformed and empowered life in Christ (Romans 6:11; Romans 12:2)

III. Raised to walk in holiness (Romans 6:4b)

1. Walk by grace to reflect God’s character (John 3:3, 7; Ephesians 2:5; Galatians 5:16, 25)
2. Be a practicing Christian (2 Peter 1:3-4; 1 Corinthians 5:17; Colossians 1:4-10; Galatians 5:16; Romans 6:11; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
